Muradiye Elektrik Üretim ve Ticaret Inc., with the aim of producing electricity—one of humanity’s most indispensable needs, increasingly demanded both globally and in Turkey—from domestic and clean resources, began construction in 2007 and was completed in 2013.

As Muradiye Elektrik Üretim ve Ticaret Inc., our primary mission is to expand our product range by diversifying renewable energy sources (hydroelectric and solar power plants) and to help reduce our country’s total carbon emissions by producing clean and entirely eco-friendly electricity from renewable sources. Named after the hydroelectric power plant located in the Muradiye district of Van, our company operates two hydroelectric plants: Şelale and Ayrancılar. With a total water conveyance line of 17,707 meters, the plants are projected to generate 125 MW kilowatt-hours of electricity annually.

With a total installed capacity of 41.45 MW, our company has the capacity to meet all electricity needs (residential, industrial, metro transportation, government offices, street lighting, etc.) required in the daily lives of approximately 33,510 people.

When considering only residential electricity consumption, the Muradiye Ayrancılar Hydroelectric Power Plant alone is capable of generating enough electricity to meet the needs of 40,746 households.

Muradiye Elektrik, by working with expert teams throughout all phases of investment to operation in Turkey’s electricity generation sector, has set as its priority goal to deliver entirely eco-friendly and highly efficient projects.
