1. Purpose
At Muradiye Elektrik Inc. (“Muradiye Elektrik”), we pursue an open, transparent, and constructive communication policy with our stakeholders. By establishing effective communication mechanisms, we aim to maintain continuous information exchange with our stakeholders and to learn their opinions, complaints, and needs regarding environmental, social, and governance matters. This document has been prepared to adopt the framework and principles of stakeholder engagement processes.
2. Scope and Responsibilities
The processes related to stakeholder engagement and prioritization matrix at Muradiye Elektrik Inc. are under the responsibility of Muradiye Elektrik Inc.’s management and are carried out by the Sustainability Committee and the Sustainability Office authorized by it.
3. Approach
Muradiye Elektrik’s stakeholders include consumers, employees, suppliers and business partners, investors, local communities, public institutions and regulatory bodies, academic institutions, financial institutions and investors, non-governmental organizations, sectoral organizations, professional associations, and the media. All these parties, which have the potential to influence our activities, can have an impact on the success of our business. Therefore, stakeholder priorities should inform our prioritization matrix. Through a transparent and effective communication policy, we continuously engage in dialogue with our stakeholders and develop our prioritization matrix to also meet their expectations and needs. Our prioritization matrix is reviewed at least once every two years. Muradiye Elektrik’s management and the Sustainability Committee reserve the right to shorten this period.
For Muradiye Elektrik, the stakeholder engagement process is continuous. The form and timing of communication may vary depending on the type of stakeholder and the content of the matter. In this context, regularly meeting with stakeholders through events, seminars, and social activities, and collecting effective feedback via methods such as surveys and field visits, are important steps of the stakeholder engagement plans created to improve interactions. Muradiye Elektrik continuously works to evaluate stakeholder opinions and suggestions, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. In this way, it aims to establish strong cooperation and mutual understanding with its stakeholders.
